Hardox 600 Pipes are manufactured from ultra-high-strength, quenched and tempered steel with a typical chemical composition of approximately 0.40–0.50% carbon, 0.70% max silicon, 1.60% max manganese, along with controlled amounts of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and boron. This alloy design delivers extremely high hardness, typically around 570–640 HBW. Mechanically, Hardox 600 offers very high tensile strength exceeding 2000 MPa, excellent wear resistance, and good toughness for its hardness class, enabling performance in severe abrasion applications.
