Carbon Steel EN 10216-2 pipes are made of carbon steel alloy mainly consisting of carbon (C), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), and silicon (Si). The tensile strength of the material is excellent with average tensile strength ranging from 410 to 570 MPa and yield strength of 250 to 460 MPa. These pipes exhibit good weldability and resistance against corrosion and, therefore, find applications in high-pressure environments. EN 10216-2 pipes are, therefore, ideal for use in industries such as oil, gas, and electricity generation, using elongation values of about 20% at low temperatures, impact resistance.
