SA 516 GR.70N NACE HIC Plates are pressure vessel steel plates for sour service applications, specifically hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) resistant. They meet NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 standards, making them durable even in harsh conditions. The average chemical composition consists of Carbon (≤0.28%), Manganese (0.85-1.20%), Phosphorus (≤0.010%), Sulfur (≤0.002%), Silicon (0.13-0.45%), and trace amounts of Nickel, Chromium, and Molybdenum. These plates have very good weldability, toughness, and corrosion resistance, hence suitable for oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
